Strengths
Overview
Fall 2017 saw students and faculty settling into the A. Alfred Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning’s revamped and expanded Art and Architecture building. The $28.5-million wing is a LEED-Gold-certified project that adds 36,000 square feet to the facility. The school has architecture degrees at all levels of study (the Master of Science is earned in Architecture: Digital and Material Technologies). A faculty of 83 allows for both a 12:1 student-faculty ratio and advisors in a broad range of specialties. A school-wide Diversity Matters initiative aims to ensure a supportive environment and more representative academy.
