The Italian manufacturer just released this 105-centimetre-high steel pellet stove with a ceramic top and sides. Its main feature is an intelligent combustion control that offers a more natural-looking flame. Star comes in white, bordeaux, black, sandstone or soapstone.

Azure Heat 5 Caleido

2 Mask by Caleido
A multi-purpose radiator, Mask by Italy’s Caleido is made from carbon steel and features slots for warming towels, as well as curved sides to conceal wall fittings. The minimalist rad is available in water, electric and mixed versions.

3 Hot Sofa by Jaga
Belgian company Jaga has devised a radiator cover that doubles as a bench. Upholstered in Kvadrat wool, Hot Sofa fits over heating elements up to 36 centimetres in height and comes in three standard lengths; custom lengths of up to five metres are also available. It suits commercial environments, such as museums, hotels, airports, offices and schools.

4 Tiles by Paloform
Toronto-based Paloform offers custom mantels made from hand-cast concrete available in six standard colours: nougat, chai, walnut, dove, ash and charcoal. The durable tiles can be installed around gas, wood, electric and ethanol fireplaces. Installation takes approximately six weeks.

5 Scaletta by Tubes Radiatori
Since this ladder-like rad requires no installation, it can be moved from room to room (or house to house). Wall-mounted and free-standing versions are available in the aluminum system, as well as various colours and sizes, with optional detachable hooks and storage pieces.
