1 Y Chair by Tom Dixon
Two years of engineering went into the design of Tom Dixon’s Y Chair, a stackable number suited for heavy use in hospitality environments. The chair achieves its unique contemporary styling without sacrificing durability or ergonomics.

2 DS-279 by de Sede
Joining de Sede’s DS-277 and DS-278 lounge chairs, the DS-279 extends the family with a versatile upholstered seat that can be mixed and matched with wooden legs, tubular steel supports, or the four-point swivelling pedestal seen here.

3 Mirto by B&B Italia
The Mirto collection of outdoor seating from B&B Italia now includes chairs with and without arms; both are collapsible for easy movement or storage. They join the Antonio Citterio-designed Mirto chaises longues introduced in April.

4 Deck by de Padova
Expanding the collection of modular seating designed by Luca Nichetto last year, de Padova introduces new materials and features – including an upholstered version – that adapt the chairs for home, office, contract and outdoor use.

5 Leather Chair by Hayche
Mexico City’s Hierve Diseñería will announce the founding of a sister company, Hayche, to be based in London, UK. Among Hayche’s first collections is the Leather Chair, a Scandinavian-inspired armchair which combines solid wood and black leather.

6 Aria by La Palma
With its ultra-lightweight corded seat and minimalist look, La Palma’s Aria seating is perfect for patios. It’s available as a stool or a chair, the latter with or without arms. An upholstered version for indoor use will be unveiled next week.

7 Puk by Montis
This sculpted armchair, upholstered in fabric or leather, hides a secret: although it is available with an optional ottoman, it can also be used as a convertible recliner, with an extendable footrest that slides out from under the seat pan when needed.

8 UFO by Vondom
Ora Ïto conceived of the UFO collection for Vondom, which includes tables, chairs and sofas, as a “mutation” somewhere between the form of a pagoda and an alien spaceship. The monolithic seating is intended for outdoor use, and can be lit from within to create atmospheric effects.
