Abstrakt Mona Tables by Diabla

British artist and printmaker Jonathan Lawes provided the highly abstract graphics for this collection of tables. The two patterns – one predominately red, the other more on the pinkish side – bring unexpected dimension to the tables’ flat surfaces thanks to Lawes signature layering of geometric shapes and striking colours.

Available in circular (70 and 80 cm diameters) and square (70 by 70 cm) formats, both with a height of 72 centimetres, the single-leg base is offered in four colours – red or pink (depending on the chosen top), white, grey and anthracite – and is made from thermo-lacquered galvanized steel with phenolic plate surface.

Jeanette Collection by Sp01

Expanding on his Jeanette chair, Tom Fereday has further developed the series to include a lounge chair, sofa and range of coffee tables. The Australian designer employed the same precise, hand-finished metal work for the new seating additions, with the powder-coated steel wire-grid structure effortlessly suspended within its frame, with tailored cushions adding just the right amount of softness.

Low-slung and elegant, the coffee tables explore a range of materials and finishes including terracotta and marble.

Mah Jong Outdoor by Roche Bobois

Originally designed by Hans Hopfer in 1971, the Mah Jong modular sofa system has been a long-time icon of interior design – and now it’s available as an outdoor collection. Maintaining the freedom to compose near endless arrangements, the individual modules are upholstered in durable outdoor fabrics, and still padded, stitched and quilted by hand. The larquered metal base features a random perforated pattern and extends past the cushions to form handy ledges for holding drinks and other sun-soaking accoutrements.

Layout Collection by Barlow Tyrie

Generous proportions and graceful lines collide in the handsome Layout collection, a collaboration between designers Andrew Jones and Nathalie de Leval. Comprised of two differently sized upholstered seats (plus two ottomans) and five teak tables, the system can be arranged in multiple configurations.

What’s more, the clever design includes back and arm components that can be fit on any side of the seating modules to create sofas, corner sectionals, loungers and armchairs. Sculptural powder-coated marine-grade stainless steel legs unify all the pieces.

Bebop by Fermob

Composed of three super-slim legs and a flat surface that seems to hover delicately above, the Bebop table is extremely durable thanks to its steel construction. Offered in three formats – round, square and rectangular – in varying heights, the table series by Tristan Lohner plays up the simple geometric form of a circle.

Available in more than 20 colourways that range from earthy neutrals and cool greys to bold greens and vibrant citrus tones.
