“Maison Kitsuné and I did not want to follow the New York way, and instead we brought both Parisian and Japanese influences into the design of the space,” Lehanneur says. “The store is conceived as a series of rooms, like a classic Parisian apartment.”

“I wanted to literally draw the customer into the shop – from the street to the fitting rooms,” says Lehanneur. I then decided to create this curving vine-like rail around the space from the concrete textured floor to the elegant high ceilings.”

“The metal and concrete express the idea of a fashion made for the city, for everyday life, while the green marble brings luxurious accents albeit playing with the glow of the metal,” adds Lehanneur. “When we used concrete for some display elements, we decided to keep visible the pebbles it contains.”
