Black Friday Deals

1 Précio by Les M Studio
These mirrors, by the Luxembourg duo of Céline Merhand & Anaïs Morel, feature a reflective surface floating on an oak base that incorporates hardware to hang trinkets. A larger version also features an oak tray.

2 Muffin by Brokis
The latest editions of the Czech lighting brand’s Muffins collection, designed by Lucie Koldová and Dan Yeffet, feature bases in walnut and new colours for the glass shades.

3 Valentina and Aram by Gan
The Spanish manufacturer of handmade rugs will show off over a dozen new collections, including the Valentina collection, which consists of a rug with unique, rounded edges, and a cushion seat. Gan will also be featuring its new Aram line of stools and tables, designed by Nendo in basket-like forms that borrow inspiration from Indian weaving techniques.

4 Brew by Tom Dixon
Though the Brits are better known as tea drinkers, the U.K. designer has conquered the coffee ritual with his new Brew collection. The pot, espresso cups, tray and cream and sugar bowls are super glossy, finished as they are in a film of vapourized copper.

5 Cube by La Boite Concept
Big sound is packed into this pint size speaker unit that takes the form of a coffee table. The Cube features Wide Stereo Sound 2.0 and is presented in two new premium finishes: walnut and Corian.

6 Scholten & Baijings for Verreum
The Prague glass brand will be on hand with three collections designed by Dutch designers, and colour masters, Scholten & Baijings. The Pastel series of vessels and the Iris carafe and cup set are both made using forgotten mercury glass techniques.

7 Danish Crafts Collection
An annual favourite, this exhibit brings together five emerging designers. Among this year’s crop of talent are Amanda Betz, maker of the Column lamp, characterized by its patterned brass shade; and Martine Myrup, the ceramist behind the Speckled vases and their curved geometric lines.

8 Inverted Space by Calico
The brand’s Inverted Space line, a collaboration with Amsterdam collective BCXSY, is a metallic interpretation of a dreamy night sky. The patterns were born out of abstract artworks made by compiling NASA space photographs. (See more great wallpapers!)

9 Korkki by Utopia and Utility
The glass specialists have branched out from their usual vessels and are now using the medium to create larger pieces, including furniture. The Korkki table is named for the Finnish word for the soft cork that tops the hard glass base.

10 BuzziSpace with Kvadrat
Maison et Objet will be the launchpad for two brand new BuzziSpace products, as well as the introduction of its collaboration with textile giant Kvadrat. Five lines, including the popular BuzziNordic sofa, will be reintroduced with brightly coloured Kvadrat upholstery. The outdoor office concept BuzziShed will also debut at the show.

Maison & Objet’s September edition runs September 4 to 8 at Nord Villpinte, in Paris.
