The latest collaboration between Barcelona’s Lievore Altherr Molina and Andreu World is this seating collection ideal for reception areas and hotel lobbies. The armchair and two- and three-seater sofas are composed of recycled materials with optional FSC-certified wooden arms.

3M introduces six finishes for their interior and exterior wall surfacing line. Among them: a textured application that comes in four shades of golds and greys; a finish that has an organic feel; and two bronze- and champagne-toned lines (shown) that inject a bit of luxury into any retail environment.

4 Mirra 2 by Herman Miller

Designed by Berlin’s Studio 7.5, the Mirra 2 task chair is 25 per cent lighter and more responsive than the original Mirra. The updated iteration has a smaller core and features a fabric back support with a reduced ratio of hole to material. The molded material is meant to stay heat and moisture free.

Toronto’s Three H launches this casegoods system featuring laminated surfaces and aluminum accents. A patented Deluxe Power Management system stores cords out of sight. Two new wood finishes, dark suede and sand drift, have been added to the suite.

Lagunitas by Coalesse

6 Lagunitas by Coalesse

Milan’s Toan Nguyen worked with Coalesse of San Francisco to create this customizable lounge and table collection that toggles between work and relaxation. Power outlets can be specified for the semi-private workstation set-up, and high and low panels come in opaque fabric or translucent mesh.

Duo and Trio by Interface

Inspired by un-dyed natural fibres such as wool and linen, this textured carpeting is made of 100 per cent non-virgin yarn that combines reclaimed carpet fibre and salvaged fishing nets. Duo has a neutral palette while Trio adds a swath of colour. Both are offered in a skinny plank format, allowing for a bevy of installation possibilities including quarter-turn and herringbone.

For Todd Bracher‘s second partnership with HBF, the New York designer named his ergonomic and collaborative furnishings after its A-shaped base and the S-shaped form of the human spine. ASA comprises a lounge chair and lightweight tables in three heights.

Brentano adds two new patterns to their Symphonic leather and vinyl alternatives. Primal is an eco-friendly polyurethane with a bold animal print in eight au courant fashion colours. Remix (shown) uses a casted effect that simulates the appearance of a woven textile.

10 B&B Italia Project by Teknion Studio

Toronto’s Teknion joins forces with design luminaries such as Suzanne Tick, Jeffrey Bernett and Michael Vanderbyl to create a new alliance with B&B Italia. One of the many pieces is Naoto Fukasawa’s Cloud Sofa (shown), a series of linear and curved benches with a chromed tubular steel support frame and upholstered foam cushions in fabric or leather.

11 Cameo by J+J/Invision

The newest addition to J+J/Invision’s Drama Collection is this broadloom that uses a blend of pile heights to create a chic grid pattern inspired by couture tweed designs. It comes in cool, warm and neutral tones, and contains 25 per cent recycled content and features a colour technology that eliminates the need for harsh cleaners.

Sedan by Nienkämper

12 Sedan by Nienkämper

Nienkämper expands its geometric-shaped Sedan line of semi-private seating with this lightweight trio of occasional tables. In three heights and sizes, wood veneer or laminate tops can be specified, while the bases come in slick finishes including brushed nickel and glossy black.

13 Juxta by Keilhauer

EOOS, in collaboration with Keilhauer, has come up with Juxta, a seating collection that caters to opposing behaviours occurring in the office: formal and informal, standing and sitting, brief and lengthy. It consists of 39 components that can be assembled in various ways to create 74 unique configurations of stools, chairs and tables.

This swivel chair combines a poly shell backrest that houses a cushioning technology, with a membrane upholstered in a multidimensional stretch knit used in Nike sneakers, that maintains body temperature. Additional features include an integrated sliding seat and a backrest tilt angle that enables the user to adjust the chair to their seated posture.

15 Tyde by Vitra

Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec’s height-adjustable tables cater to the stand-up/sit-down trend of working. Tyde extends this concept into double workstations and conference tables, incorporating features that address the acoustic challenges of open plan offices. Beneath a sound-absorbing cover is a quiet electric height adjustment motor, while acoustic screens dampen ambient noise.
