Venice is a cultured and refined city: its conformation of canals and lanes has allowed the Venetian capital to be listed among the UNESCO heritages. The bell tower of San Marco, the Rialto bridge, the Dogi palace, are some of the most renowned historical symbols to which counterbalance icons of the recent millennium such as the Olivetti Shop designed by Carlo Scarpa or the bridge on the grand canal signed by architect Santiago Calatrava. This climate of constant admixture, always attentive to cultural influences, led in 1895 to the organization of one of the most important international art exhibitions, better known as the Venice Biennial, still in force and which gives its name to the foundation of the same name. The Arsenale, an ancient building site converted into an exhibition pavilion, and the gardens occupy the eastern part of the lagoon, making the district a small cultural city. In this area of great attraction we want to imagine a Housing ready to welcome people from all over the world. Residences and spaces for artistic exhibitions will be the place where travelers can meet to share experiences of different backgrounds. A hub for culture that becomes an element capable of transforming historical references into a new sign of contemporaneity.
