From bank towers to condos, learn the stories behind the buildings that shape Toronto’s iconic skyline and the pioneer towers that started it all. Our tour will start with a visit to City Hall, a masterpiece of contemporary architecture that launched Toronto into the modern age, and then head into the heart of the financial district, home of Canada’s five largest banks and many of the city’s tallest structures. Along the way we will uncover hidden gems among the skyscrapers, rediscover some of the beautiful art-deco structures that once dominated our skyline, and even take peek into the future as we discuss the buildings that will shape the skyline of tomorrow. Of course, no tour of the financial district would be complete without a visit to works of contemporary masters including Mies van der Rohe, I.M. Pei and Santiago Calatrava. Highlights include Toronto City Hall, Toronto Dominion Centre, Commerce Court, and Berzcy Park.

WHERE: Cenotaph in front of Old City Hall (Northeast corner of Queen St. W & Bay St.) The tour finishes at Berckzy Park.

TICKETS: TSA Members get 50% off regular ticket price for one ticket per tour per season. Children ages 12 and under are free, provided they are accompanied by a paying adult.

TICKET SALES CLOSE 15 minutes before the tour start time. Cash tickets may be available directly from the tour guide at the start of the tour if it is not sold out. If you have not purchased a ticket in advance, please arrive at least 10 minutes early to allow time for the ticket sale. Please bring exact change as tour guides do not carry change.
