DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparation of concept design, schematic design, design development, and construction documents
- Assist Senior Designers in establishing format, drawing assignments, deliverables and schedules
- Ensure clear information exchange procedures that affect overall project quality and performance
QUALITIES
- Professional approach
- Working knowledge of allied design disciplines
- Knowledge of professional ethics, as applied to architecture
- Track record in successful design projects
- Strong aesthetic sense and interest in the arts
- General knowledge of building materials, detailing, construction techniques, related engineering principles, and building codes
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
- 1-3 years’ experience in Architectural Design
- Professional proficiency in Auto-CAD, REVIT, 3-D Modeling (3D Studio Max, Rendering, Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) Excel, Word, SketchUP
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
- Requires excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to effectively communicate
- Must be able to write reports and business correspondence in clear concise business English
- Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public in a professional, collegial manner
